Health & Safety Policy
Deli Delights is registered with Durham County Council as a food business and we were last inspected on [the date]. We strictly adhere to the Safer Food, Better Business Management Systems laid down by the Food Standards Agency.
Lorna Prasad the Managing Director attained her Advanced Food Hygiene Certification and Professional Trainers Certificate which enables her to teach Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
Delivery & Cancellation Policy
Orders
- There is a minimum food order of £30.00 for all orders within Durham city centre. All orders under £30.00 will incur a £5.00 delivery charge.
- When we deliver the buffet we will coordinate a time to collect the used equipment that day.
- Please note that the equipment is the responsibility of the client until collected and any breakages, loss of crockery, linen etc will be invoiced.
- For corporate clients any buffets cancelled within 7 days of the delivery date will incur a 20% cancellation fee. No cancellations can be accepted less than 7 days before the due delivery date, i.e. the complete order will be delivered and invoiced.
- All corporate clients must pay their invoice within 7 days of the invoice date.
Home-made Cakes
- All home-made cakes must be collected between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm from 3 Waddington Street, Durham City, DH1 4BE.
- If you would like your cake to be delivered to you there is £5.00 delivery charge for addresses within a 3 mile radius of Durham City. The £5 delivery charge will be collected on delivery. If you would ike a cake delivered outside of the 3 mile radius please contact the office for details.
- Private clients must pay their invoice on the day of delivering the buffet by cash.
Changes Within the Menu
- Please note that unfortunately due to certain circumstances beyond our control there may be minor changes within the menus due to ingredients being unavailabe.
